Yeah I know when ever I tell someone I'm from California they either know Disneyland or LA, My Aunt and Uncle use to live in Ipswich, so the first time I went to London it was only for a couple days and spent most of my time in Ipswich, Mildenhall, St. Edmunds, and around Dover, sorry if I don't spell some of the names of your towns correct I was drunk a lot of the time I was there, some kind of drink called Boddingtons Cream

Been to London today!!!
by digderidoo ini haven't been to london in about 15 years.
i decided to take my kids for their first outing to see the sights.
i remember as a kid going with my mom and nan, we actually went inside the houses of parliament, went in the house of lords, up downing st, but now with the terrorist threats obviously all thats changed.. there is a definate difference in the security aspect of it, but not enough to take the shine off the experience.. we saw the changing of the guard at buckingham palace, the band playing were the ghurka regiment, something i have never seen before.

I didn't mean Stonehenge and Avery were part of London I just meant that I booked that before I left.

I also love London first time there was back in 99, last time was little over a year ago, I like all the WWII history, I spend a whole day at the Imperial War Museum everytime I'm there. Hotels are very, very small but thats ok, and yes everything is so expensive I usually try to find deals by booking ahead here before I leave, I booked theater tickets, London Eye, and a trip to Stonehenge and Avery, that new Oyster card is pretty cool also saves a bunch of money on local travel.

this is stupid
by bite me inokay, so this weekends weather has been a bit crazy, especially in california; twisters geez.
anyway, i heard some people talking how this weekends weather rain, no rain , back to rain and no rain again is a sure sign of the end being nearer.
so if it would be hot as it was last week, would it have been a sure sign too?

JW's and Military Service
by Wordly Andre inwhen i was a kid my parents would try and scare me, that if i didn't get baptized and i turned 18 i could get drafted and go to war.
funny thing is, when i was a kid i used to want to join the military i wanted to either join the navy or air force, when ever my parents would try and scare me about the whole "they can draft you and the elder would be helpless to try and keep you out of the military because you're not baptized" i would just be like well thats the chance i'll have to take.. fast forward, i just turned 17, i walked down to the armed services recruiting center in my town, i signed up to take my asvab test, did very well on it, went home and told my parents of my plans they all freaked out, however i didn't do so well on my health exam, my mom said jehovah was saving me.. i wasn't able to join up, it was something i wanted to do since i was a kid.
anyone else that grew up in the org also want to join the military?.

Kingdumb Hall Smell
by Wordly Andre inever notice all the kingdumb halls smell the same, like new books or something.
i haven't been inside a kingdumb hall since a funeral i went to a couple years ago, but right when i walked in, it was the same smell.
what got me thinking about this is i have a new book here, smells like kingdumb hall, but i guess what do you expect from a "religion" sorry publishing company, to smell like.
